3.1.3 PC 1000

Clean the adhesive surfaces with isopropyl alcohol or any other suitable and effective “Oxido-Oxygen-Depleting Chemicals” cleaner. (Note the stress rupture)

Grind with medium grain (80-150) sandpaper.
Carefully remove oil again and remove loose particles with a clean, soft brush.

3.1.4 CESTILENE/CESTICOLOR/CESTIDUR/CESTILITE

Clean the adhesive surfaces with isopropyl alcohol or any other suitable and effective “Oxido-Oxygen-Depleting Chemicals” cleaner.
The surface was placed in a chrome tanning sulfuric acid bath at room temperature and etched with the following ingredients:
- Water
- Concentrated sulfuric acid (density 1.84G/CM)
- Potassium or sodium bicarbonate 20pbw

First use a clean cooling flow water and then a clean flow hot water wash with hot air drying

3.2 Advanced Engineering Plastics

3.2.3 SYMALIT PVDF 1000

Smalt

Due to the excellent chemical resistance of fluoropolymers, SYMALIT PVDF 1000 is difficult to bond with other materials than itself (stable joints). Only mechanical pretreatment of the joint surface (Method I) results in poor adhesion. Chemical etching of the PVDF joints (Method II) gives better results.

Method I

Clean the adhesive surfaces with isopropyl alcohol or any other suitable and effective “Oxido-Oxygen-Depleting Chemicals” cleaner.
Grind with medium grain (80-150) sandpaper.
Carefully remove the oil again and use a soft, soft brush to remove the loose particles.

Method II

Use isopropyl alcohol to clean and degrease the joints. Use Acton Fluorine Corrosion or GORE TETRA 腐蚀 Corrosion Pretreatment PVDF Joints Use these products to consult the following companies

3.3 Other common materials

3.3.1 Metals (aluminum (alloy), copper (alloy), steel, cast iron...)

Clean and degrease the bonded surface with isopropyl alcohol to clean and degrease the joint surfaces or other suitable effective “Oxid-Free Oxygen-Depleting Chemicals” cleaners.

The surface layer is sanded or sandblasted with medium grain (80-150) sand paper or wire brush.
Carefully remove oil again and remove loose particles with a clean soft brush.
To prevent surface corrosion, stick the surface as much as possible.
The adhesive bonding of the plastic surface to the weakest bonding of the metal-metal joint means that the above-mentioned preparation procedure for the metal surface can fully achieve the most satisfactory results. However, if a good bonding performance is required for the adhesive on the metal surface, the chemical etching of the latter can be performed.

3.3.2 Wood

Before bonding, wood with 20% moisture content should be oven dried. Mechanically remove contaminated material. Use a cleaning brush to remove loose particles and dust.

3.3.3. Cement, Stone and Ceramics

Remove all dust and dirt on the surface. If there is oil or butter stain, wipe the surface with a cleaning solution and rinse with clean running water.
Use sandpaper or a steel brush to sand and blast the surface.
Use a clean brush to remove all loose particles and dust from the surface. Make sure the surface is completely dry before applying the adhesive. (to be continued)
